Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pyrrolopyrimidine derivative and useful for the treatment of tumor diseases and other proliferative diseases such as psoriasis.
CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition contains, as active ingredient, a new compound of formula I ((n) is 0-5; R is an halogen, alkyl, trifluoromethyl or the like; R1 and R2 are each an alkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, substituted methyl, one of R1 and R2 is H, or R1 and R2 together form a 2-5C alkylene chain) or a salt thereof, e.g. 4-(m-chloroanilino)-5,6-dimethyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3- d]pyrimidine. The compound of the formula I is obtained by reaction of a halo-pyrrolo-pyrimidine of formula II (Z is H or a 1-aryl-lower alkan-1-yl; X is a halogen) with a phenylamine of formula III. This compound of formula I acts as a tyrosine protein kinase inhibitor and/or serine/threonine protein kinase inhibitor.
