Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material by which a secondary battery having an enough charge/discharge capacity and extremely excellent output characteristics can be achieved, a method for manufacturing the positive electrode active material, etc.SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material 10 for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a lithium metal composite oxide 3 including secondary particles 2 formed by agglomeration of primary particles 1; a first substance A consisting of a lithium salt of an oxoanion of one or more kinds of transition metal selected from tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium; and a second substance B consisting of conductive fine powder higher than the first substance in electron conductivity. In the positive electrode active material, the first substance A and the second substance B are deposited on at least part of the primary particles 1 which are present at the surface of and inside each secondary particle 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
