Abstract:
To provide a quantification method capable of simply measuring a xonotlite formation rate.SOLUTION: The method for quantifying a xonotlite formation rate in a silicic acid calcium hydrate formed by subjecting a half-cured body obtained by adding metal aluminum powder to slurry prepared by adding water to a silicic acid raw material powder and calcic raw material powder to foam and cure the mixture to autoclave cure comprises: analyzing a plurality of silicic acid calcium hydrate samples previously formed in various autoclave cure conditions by X-ray diffraction and measuring the thermal shrinkage thereof to calculate a correlation between a peak intensity at a predetermined diffraction angle and the thermal shrinkages; and calculating a xonotlite formation rate on the basis of the peak intensity at the predetermined diffraction angle obtained by collating the measurement results obtained by measuring the thermal shrinkages of the silicic acid calcium hydrates to be quantified with the correlation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
