Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make even the quantity of material to be carried in a bucket, by forming a projection on the rising portion of a conveyer.
CONSTITUTION: Material dropped through a hopper 2a is put in a series of buckets 5 attached to a conveyer belt 2c and carried upward. If the bucket 5 is overloaded with the material during its upward travel, the bucket 5 leans against the belt 2c, but it is separated from the belt 2c when it passes over a projection 4a formed over the belt 2c. At this moment, separation of the bucket 5 from the belt 2c makes surplus of the material dropped through the gap.
