Abstract:
To provide a quantum digital signature system and a quantum digital signature method that distribute an authentication key through a simple procedure with simpler constitution.SOLUTION: A system comprises: a transmission device 2 which broadcasts pulse trains of less than 1 photon per pulse and 0, π/2, π, or 3π/2 in phase different from adjacent pulses to a reception device; a first Mach-Zehnder interferometer which inputs one branched pulse train and has a delay time equal to intervals of the pulse train and a transmission phase difference of 0; a second Mach-Zehnder interferometer which inputs the other pulse train and has a delay time equal to intervals of the pulse train and a transmission phase difference of π/2; detectors 313, 314 which detect output photons of the first Mach-Zehnder interferometer; detectors 323, 324 which detect output photons of the second Mach-Zehnder interferometer; and the reception device which comprises a control part 35 for recording the detected photons and detectors, wherein the phase of pulses is attached as a signature key and an authentication key to be collated with the signature key is generated based upon the information recorded by the control part 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
