Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum interference device capable of effectively improving intensity of an EIT signal, and an atomic oscillator provided with the quantum interference device, an electronic apparatus and a movable body.SOLUTION: An atomic oscillator 1 comprises: an atom cell 2 having window sections 22 and 23 and being constituted with an internal space S where alkaline metal is encapsulated between the window sections 22 and 23; a first light source section 31 causing a resonance light pair LL1 being circularly polarized in the same direction with respect to each other and resonating the alkaline metal to be incident from the window section 22 with respect to the internal space S; a second light source section 32 causing adjustment light LL2 circularly polarized in a rotation direction being a reverse direction to the resonance light pair LL1 in the internal space S to be incident from the window section 23 with respect to the internal space S; and a light receiving section 4 receiving the resonance light pair LL1 passing through the atom cell 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
