Title:
QUARTZ OSCILLATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5698006
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the frequency fluctuation caused by the temperature, by providing the temperature-sensitive resistance in series to a quartz oscillator.
CONSTITUTION: The resonance frequency of the quartz oscillator 1 varies by the resonance current. Thus the frequency reduces when the resonance current becomes small. In this connection, a temperature-sensitive element such as the posistor 3 is connected in series to the oscillator 1. As a result, the resonance current is controlled to give a temperature compensation to the oscillation frequency. The posistor 3 can be attached easily to the oscillator 1 itself by the vapor deposition, baking or other methods.
