Title:
QUARTZ TIMEPIECE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS56163476
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the timepiece pace to be measured by means of a pace measuring device employing a resonance microphone of 32kHz, by a method wherein in a timepiece employing a quartz oscillator having a high frequency, a quartz oscillator of 32kHz is connected with a frequency-divided output of 32kHz.
CONSTITUTION: The reference oscillation signal is frequency-divided to 32kHz in the first frequency dividing step 4. The output signal thereof is applied to another quartz oscillator 6 which has 32kHz and performs flectional oscillation. Resonating with said signal, the quartz oscillator 6 oscillates. Detecting said oscillation by using a conventional resonance microphone permits the timepiece pace to be measured.
