To provide a quick closing check valve with a noise elimination function capable of effectively reducing noise caused in a passage to carry out noise elimination, and capable of reducing vibration isolating countermeasures.

The check valve 1 includes a valve element holder 2 having the passage, and a hollow short pipe 7 with both ends opened, arranged by communicating the passage of the valve element holder with one end opening. A valve element 5 is provided in the holder so as to open and close the passage, and energizing member 10 is arranged for energizing the valve element in a valve closing direction. An annular space 16 is formed and arranged between short pipe inner circumference walls by a retainer pipe 15 with both ends opened in the short pipe, an opening 17 is formed damping sound propagating in fluid to a circumference wall of the retainer pipe through the annular space from an inner side to an outer side of the retainer pipe, and when a frequency of the sound propagating in the fluid is at least 125-160 Hz, the opening damps 10 dB or more.
