Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a quick connector assembly capable of removing a tube from a connector without using a tool.
CONSTITUTION: An annular projection 12 is provided so as to be fitted on a tube 10 with a space from an end 10a of the tube 10, and on the other hand, rocking projections 26, 27 capable of being elastically deformed in the radial direction between the free condition and the rock condition and a rock member 22 having a ring 24 connected to the rocking projections are provided in a connector 14. The rocking projections are provided with a front inclination part and a lateral groove, and the annular projection 12 of the tube 10 is fitted in the groove so as to connect the tube 10 and the connector 14 to each other. The rocking projections are unlocked by a spacer means for expanding the rocking projections so as to separate the tube 10 and the connector 14 from each other.
