Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost C-type spring ring system quick disconnect coupling to facilitate removal, even in a removal of a male coupling from a female coupling as a high-elastic and high-strength C-type spring ring is employed and use by mounting ability and a high pressure is realized.
SOLUTION: A nipple 4 of a male coupling B is provided with a crest part 5 to forcibly spreading a C-type spring ring 3 in a female coupling along the taper part of a nipple 4 of a male coupling B inserted in a female coupling A and a lock part 6 formed that the C-type spring ring is hooked at a back extending over the crest part. A removal jig 9 is provided to be thrededly joined with the outer periphery of the end part of the nipple of the male coupling through a screw part 11. When the male coupling B is separated away from the female coupling, the C-type spring ring 3 is forcibly spread from the lock part 6 to a spot above the crest part 5 by a tip 14 of the removal jig 9 through screw-in of the removal jig 9 and the male coupling B can be separated by a hand.
