This double tissue woven or knitted fabric comprises a high density back layer made of hydrophobic yarns having a moisture regain of ≤1% and a low density front layer made of polyamide or polyester yarns having a modified fiber cross section which has three or more channels. The woven or knitted fabric simultaneously has a one-way quick moisture-absorbing and drying function and a non-coating waterproof function with the moisture- repelling force of the back side tissue and with the capillarity of the front side tissue. Thereby, the problem of a moisture-absorbing and drying property having a conventional two-way moisture-absorbing function is improved, and the quick moisture-absorbing and drying function for doubly or more increasing the moisture-absorbing and drying speed is given.
