Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ink supply device imparting good printing quality at low cost by inserting a lapping ink impregnated foam wherein an ink impregnated porous member is covered with a film member in the opening part of a receiving housing in a detachable manner.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of the replacement of lapping ink impregnated foam, at first, the lid member 24 fitted in the opening part 21 of a foam receiving housing 20 is detached and the lapping ink impregnated foam 22 included in the foam receiving housing 20 is taken out by pulling a handle member 35. Next, the lapping ink impregnated foam 22 to be newly received is inserted in the foam receiving housing 20. As the foam is inserted, an O-ring 36 is fitted to a protruding part 28 and, when the foam is further inserted, the film 34 is broken through by the protruding part 28 and the foam 30 is pressed to a filter 29.
