To provide a firing system for producing quicklime where the calcining ratio of a limestone raw material in a calcining furnace is significantly improved; the heat exchanging efficiency of the whole system is improved because heat exchanging in the calcining furnace is mainly convection heat exchanging in which thermal efficiency is high; and then the amount of the heat consumption of the system is lowered.
This firing system for producing quicklime comprises a calcining furnace receiving a limestone raw material to be fired and calcining the limestone raw material and a rotary kiln receiving the raw material containing calcined products from the calcining furnace, taking out produced quicklime and supplying a first flue gas to the calcining furnace at the same time. The firing system further comprises a calcining furnace combustion apparatus where a second flue gas is generated and supplied to the calcining furnace and the limestone raw material is calcined under the effects of the first flue gas and the second flue gas in the calcining furnace.
