Title:
QUINOPROTEIN GLUCOSE DEHYDROGENASE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011083251
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a quinoprotein glucose dehydrogenase excellent in heat resistance and pH resistance, and also excellent in temperature stability and pH stability.

The quinoprotein glucose dehydrogenase, which is derived from Pyrobaculum, includes the following properties: (1) the molecular weight (SDS-PAGE method) is 33±6 kDa; (2) a monomer protein; (3) the optimum pH is 7-9; (4) the optimum temperature is 75°C or higher; (5) the temperature stability is 80°C or lower; and (6) the pH stability is 4-11. A method for producing the enzyme, a conjugate of the enzyme and a coenzyme, a glucose measurement kit, a gene encoding the enzyme, a vector including the gene, and a transformant including the vector, are also provided.
