PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple removal method of NOx in an exhaust gas from a diesel engine of an automobile or a ship, a boiler, a construction machine, a household heater or the like.SOLUTION: NOx in an exhaust gas is removed by disposing a packed bed catalyst having manganese dioxide as a main component in an exhaust gas passage of a diesel engine of an automobile or a ship, a boiler, a construction machine, a household heater or the like, or using a structured catalyst supported by various structures using thin film processing, porosity processing, honeycomb structure processing, and monolith processing.SELECTED DRAWING: None
