Abstract:
To suppress the deviation of a switching loss of each leg in a single-phase PWM inverter in an RF band.SOLUTION: A pulse width modulation control method and an RF band power supply device according to the present invention perform pulse width modulation control being the pulse width modulation (PWM) control of a single-phase PWM inverter with a modulation wave frequency fs of a modulation wave as an RF band on the single-phase PWM inverter with a gate signal (PWM pulse signal) generated on the basis of the comparison between the modulation wave and a carrier wave. The control comprises: (a) frequency synchronization control with the carrier wave frequency fc of the carrier wave as the even N multiplies of the modulation wave frequency fs; (b) odd function control with the modulation wave as the sine wave of the odd function and the carrier wave as the triangular wave of the odd function; and (c) phase synchronization control which performs phase synchronization of the carrier wave with the modulation wave in each cycle of the modulation wave. The phase synchronization control is determined on the basis of a relation of fc=N*fs with the carrier wave frequency fc as the even N multiples of the modulation wave frequency fs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
