To provide an RFID reader/writer device identifying an RFID tag present inside a certain specific range narrower than a beam width of an antenna, and not identifying an RFID tag present outside the specific range or an RFID tag present in the other range, and to provide a process management system using the same.
This RFID reader/writer device detects, by an adjacent tag false recognition prevention part, an ID of the RFID tag present in a desired detection area from an ID of the RFID tag read by an RFID tag reader/writer part when an antenna control part makes an antenna part form a first emission pattern, and an ID of the RFID tag read by the RFID reader/writer part when the antenna control part makes the antenna part form a second emission pattern.
