Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RNA detection reagent improving detection sensitivity in a method for detecting the RNA according to a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) method, and to provide a method for detecting the RNA.SOLUTION: The RNA detection reagent is obtained by extracting the RNA of an RNA virus from a sample containing the RNA virus, and amplifying the extracted RNA according to the PCR method. The RNA detection reagent is added to the sample for detecting the RNA. The reagent includes polyacrylic acid and/or a polyacrylate.
