To provide a ratchet fitting capable of positively preventing breakage or the like of a ratchet tooth or a pawl piece due to a large load.
In the ratchet fitting, a ratchet 22 and a reverse rotation preventing pawl 30 of a rotary fitting 20 is pivoted by a housing 12 of a fixed fitting 10, normal rotation of the rotary fitting 20 is allowed by forward rotation of the pawl pieces 31 and 32 of the reverse rotation preventing pawl 30 by a plurality of ratchet teeth 23, and reverse rotation is regulated by engagement of the pawl pieces 31 and 32 with the ratchet teeth 23. In a state of the pawl pieces 31 and 32 engaged with the ratchet teeth 23, an arced line R using a center position P of the first pawl piece 31 as a center and passing contact part end points Q of the second pawl piece 32 and the ratchet tooth 23 engaged with the pawl piece 32 is envisaged, and one side face part 23c of the ratchet tooth 23 is formed so as to run alongside the imaginary arced line R.
