Abstract:
To simplify cargo loading work to a cargo ship for transporting long-sized cargo such as steel pipes by sea using a U-rack.
A large number of posts 11, 11,... are erectly provided in a hold, at specified spaces in a ship length direction and a ship side direction. Grooves 17, 17 are provided at the opposed faces of posts 11, 11 on both sides so as to support a U-rack between two posts 11, 11 arranged in the ship side direction. The length of the posts 11, 11,... arranged in the ship side direction is made uneven so that the posts 11, 11 on both sides for supporting the U-rack are different in height. The U-rack is held to the upper ends of the higher posts 11 to lower cargo.
