Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive rack shaft support device with sufficient work efficiency for assembling, a sealing member and its manufacturing method.
A swelling part 23 radially swelled is previously provided on a part of a male screw 20 at the rear end of the sealing member 17. When the sealing member 17 is threaded into a retaining hole 9, the swelling part 23 is friction-engaged with a female screw 9b without plastically deforming the female screw 9b of the retaining hole 9 to autonomously accomplish a rotation stopper of the sealing member 17. A lock nut is eliminated.
