Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer flat glass without causing any damages and without the need for packaging the flat glass, and further enable the flat glass having different sizes to be taken in and out in arbitrary order.
SOLUTION: A plurality of partition members 10, 10 are parallely disposed in a frame body 1 wherein a base frame 2 and a top frame 3 are connected with each other by supports 4a, 4b, 4c, thereby dividing the interior of the frame body in right and left directions. Further, a plurality of rollers 11, 11 for supporting lower edges of flat glass thereon and guiding the flat glass in forward and backward directions are rotatably disposed on the base frame 2 in each section. On the upper portion of the base frame 2, a support mechanism 12 is provided, which is located in a lower position than the upper parts of the rollers 11, 11 when the flat glass is taken in and out, but is elevated to a higher position than the upper parts of the rollers 11, 11 when the flat glass is transferred, thereby supporting the lower edge of the flat glass so that the flat glass cannot be moved forward and backward.
