To provide a rack facilitating the maintenance of an apparatus on a carriage to be stored thereon from its side and easily guiding the carriage in a prescribed storage position by completely opening one side of a space under a top plate.

The top plate 1 is supported by a rear face leg part 2 facing in the left/right direction and a side leg part 3 facing frontward from one side end of the rear face leg part 2, and a horizontal stable leg 11 facing frontward is fixed to the other side end lower part of the rear face leg part 2. The nondirectionally movable carriage 6 is stored on a floor in the lower part of the top plate 1 so that one side end of a bed plate 6a can abut on the inner face of the side leg part 3 and the other end of the bed plate 6a can project outward the stable leg 11. The stable leg 11 is provided with a guide rail 13 guiding rollers 14 provided in the bottom face of the bed plate 6a and facing the front/rear direction.
