To provide a racket frame which is excellent in the suppressing effect on a shock or vibration propagated to the hands of a player from a grip part when hitting a ball and which is excellent in control performance capable of performing the most stable shot even at the time of an off spot shot.
A grip body 5 has a three-layer structure consisting of a grip body layer 10 formed integrally with a head and a shaft by an outer shell made of a fiber reinforced resin; a comparatively thick elastic layer 11 with which the outer periphery of the grip body layer 10 is covered; and a hard shell 12 which is arranged around its outer periphery and made to be independent from the grip body layer 10 by the elastic layer 11. At a longitudinal-direction cross section obtained by cutting the grip body part 5 in a direction vertical to a ball-hitting surface, the joining surface 17a of the grip body layer 10 and the elastic layer 11 presents a wave form.
