Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket frame of improved vibration attenuation property of, while maintaining ball fitting performance of the recket frame not less than a certain level.
SOLUTION: This racket frame is formed by fiber reinforced resin. An epoxy resin composition is used as the matrix resin. Alcohol soluble, water soluble or alcohol & water soluble nylon is contained in the epoxy resin composition with 5-50 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of epoxy resin. Under the equilibrium condition 25°C and 60% humidity, the attenuation rate of primary proper vibration in the intraplane direction is adjusted within the range of 0.6-0.8%, and the plane rigidity with in the range of 50-65kgf/cm2.
