Abstract:
PURPOSE:To absorb and damp oscillation propagated along a frame remarkably to lighten the grade of fatigue on wrists and arms by installing a cylindrical grip shell body made of hard material along the periphery on the terminal end side of a shaft part and filling highly viscous elastic material in a gap between the inner circumference of said grip shell body and the outer circumference of the terminal end part side of the shaft so as to form a grip part in an integrated shape. CONSTITUTION:In a racket frame the total weight of which stays in a range from 260-370g, the cross-sectional secondary moment at least at a throat part 3 is set in a range from 6,700-20,000mm<4> as well as the primary proper frequency of the frame is set in a range from 200-270Hz. The grip part 5 of the racket frame is set on the circumference on the terminal part 4a side of a shaft part 4 or on a cylindrical grip shell body 51 made of hard material such as a light metal like an aluminum alloy and highly viscous elastic material 53 is filled in a gap 52 between the inner circumference of said grip shell body 51 and the outer circumference of the terminal end part 4a side of the shaft so as to form the grip part in an integrated shape. Thus, any oscillation propagated to the shaft part 4 may be entirely absorbed in the highly viscous elastic material 52 so that propagation of the oscillation toward the grip shell body 51 can be reduced remarkably.
