PURPOSE: To improve the rebounding characteristic or directivity of a ball by causing the thickness of a throat part in a frame main body to be larger than a grip part and causing a peculiar frequency to almost correspond to a time while the ball is in contact with a gut spreading surface.
CONSTITUTION: A frame main body 11 has a maximum thickness dimension n1 in the area of a throat part 13 and the frame main body is formed in taper- shaped thickness dimension distribution, in which thickness n0 is gradually decreased toward a tip part 12a side and a grip part 15 side of a frame gut spreading part 12. Then, thickness (h) of a throat member 17 is smaller than the thickness n1 of a frame material. For the oscillating characteristic of the racket frame, the peculiar period of the frame main body 11 and the contact time of the ball are coincident and when the ball contacts a gut spreading surface G, the frame is oscillated only by a sine wave pattern. Then, when the ball is separated from the surface, the frame gut spreading part 12 is restored in a suitable time. Then, the ball is exactly knocked in a prescribed direction and acceleration is further added to the ball which is just before the separation from the gut spreading surface G.
