PURPOSE: To obtain a light racket frame with high rigidity and a satisfactory hitting feeling by composing the racket frame of a fiber reinforced resin for which a specified reinforcing fiber is used.
CONSTITUTION: The racket frame is formed while being composed of the fiber reinforced resin for which C-SiC fiber and/or C-SiC-MC (M is one kind at least to be selected out of a group composed of Ti, Zr and Hf) is used. The fiber is inorganic fiber to be obtained from Si included polycyclic aromatic polymer and the constituting component is a amorphous phase practically composed of Si, C and O and/or crystalline ultrafine-grains practically composed of β-Si which grain diameter is less than 500 and an aggregate composed of amorphous SiOx(0<(x)≤2). Then, the fiber is the inorganic fiber with high strength and high elasticity as an Si-C-O material which constituting element rate is Si; 30 to 70wt.%, C; 20 to 60wt.% and O; 0.5 to 10wt.%. A core material 3 composed of rigid resin is covered with a tube 1 which is constituted by knitting reinforcing fiber 2, set and adhered by thermosetting resin. Then, the racket frame is manufactured.
