Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the grip of a handle to enable a shot characteristic to be changed by providing in the empty part of a handle core a cylindrical hollow part enclosing a replaceable ballast element, and embedding an end piece in a synthetic material. CONSTITUTION: An end piece has a part 4 surrounding the end of a core 2 and has a part 5 where a handle end projects at a service position, and a peripheral projection 6 determines the position of the end piece embedded in a synthetic material 7 and is placed at a cross-sectional level with an even greater diameter, so that a handle providing a suitable grip can be obtained. An axial recess 9 is provided in the center of the end piece, and a cylindrical part 10 designed to enclose a replaceable ballast element 12 is provided and inserted into an empty part 14 at the end of the handle 1. The ballast elements 12 have different weights and make it possible to change the technical characteristic of the racket because of easiness of device installation.
