Title:
RACKET IMPROVED IN CONTROL PERFORMANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003164550
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a much higher control performance by holding a tension difference between strings not to be uniformized.

By making odd the total number of longitudinal strings, the longitudinal strings are arranged on a longitudinal center line 3 on the face of the racket and by making clear a cross point with a longest lateral string at a central position 1 on the face, a more exact shot can be performed. Besides, when stretching the strings, the tension of the strings within a face range 2 for ordinary use is gradually decreased proportionally as being further apart from the central position on the face, but in a grommet portion 4 for holding the tension difference between adjacent strings, the frictional force between each of the strings and the grommet portion is increased by devising the form thereof and the tension difference between the adjacent strings is held. Further, the strings can be easily stretched by indicating the magnitude of the tension of each of the strings in the vicinity of respective grommet holes.
