To increase the flexibility of a racket without lowering the repellency of the racket, and at the same time, to soften the impact force which is applied by strings to the frame.
The racket has: the frame equipped with a plurality of insertion holes for inserting the strings; and a shaft which is bonded to the frame. Then, a hollow section is formed at the central section in the crossing direction which crosses the hitting surface of the racket of the shaft. A folding-back section is formed only on the external edge of the frame, wherein the folding-back section folds back the string that has come out to the outside of the frame from the insertion hole along the internal side of the frame in order to place the string on the internal side of the frame from the insertion hole.
