Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keeping an imaging error small with a simple method by affecting a processor circuit, a reference function, and a distance range by a memory circuit with a focal depth.
CONSTITUTION: A geometric circuit element 1 carries out computation of various kinds of functions based on the antenna ground height HO, tilting angles, etc., and a processor circuit 2 divides the emission range of the element 1 into respective distance intervals and sends out the results to a processor circuit element 3. The element 3 carries out computation of a reference function for respective distance intervals based on the output signals and sends out the results. Meanwhile, a received signal Se is decoded 5 and decomposed into in-phase components IE, QE and these two components are stored 6, 7 and a memory apparatus 8 is turned on. Of the signals stored in the memory apparatuses 4, 8, a correlating apparatus 9 searches the correlation and displays 10 the result. The focal depth circuit element 12 installed additionally to the element 3 stores the focal depth range ΔGOV depending on the introduced height HO, the aiming range RGO1, and the antenna aperture angle (r) and the circuit 2 and the element 3 introduce. Consequently, based on the stored focal depth value, the distance range can be determined.
