Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus by which an angle in a target direction is obtained by reducing an angle detection error and efficiently in a situation in which a plurality of targets exist within an identical beam.
SOLUTION: A reflected signal from a target 13 is received by a reception part 15 via an array antenna 14, and its frequency is analyzed by FFT parts 16-1 to 16-n. A target signal is supplied to a multibeam detection means 18 and a high-resolution processing device 19. A peak in a beam formed by the means 18 is detected by a peak detection means 20, and its signal is supplied to the processing device 19. Since the processing device 19 performs a high- resolution processing operation regarding the periphery of the peak, a calculation amount is reduced, and the high-resolution processing operation can be performed.
