To prevent multiple reflections from occurring, when using an in-car radar device which has the need to detect an object in a short-distance area ranging from several tens of centimeters to several tens of meters, wherein the refected waves from the object are reflected again by a front case of the radar device, reflected by the object again and received by the radar device as a secondary echo, in order to provide a new radar device capable of accurately measuring the distance from the close-range object.
In the new radar device, the surface of a frame disposed around a transmission antenna and a receiving antenna is made up, such that the reflected waves from the object will not return in the direction in which the transmission antenna transmits transmission waves.
