Abstract:
To provide a radar system capable of reducing the impact of multiple reflections while increasing the detection range.SOLUTION: The radar system is constituted of multiple antenna elements and includes: a transmission antenna unit that has at least one transmission array for transmitting transmission waves in a first direction; and a lens unit that has a first lens and a second lens that is placed at a position where transmission waves of at least one transmission array are received. The second lens has a shape different from that of the first lens so that the aperture in the direction of narrowing the beam of the transmission waves is larger than that of the first lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
