Abstract:

To provide a radial needle roller bearing which can keep a sliding resistance low while raising a load capacity of the bearing.

Life can be extended in such a way that load capacity can be kept high and an action that an inclination of the roller is suppressed is improved because the axial length of a raceway surface can be lengthened since an end surface of a roller 11 is profiled not in a spherical surface but in a plane 11a. And, when the end surface of the roller 11 is set to be plane, a manufacturing process is made to be simple compared to the case that it is set to be spherical surface, therefore cost cut can be realized. Furthermore, since surfaces 12a, 13a of spacers 12, 13 arranged facing the end surface 11a of the roller 11 are tapered, a sliding area between the end surface 11a of the roller 11 and the spacers 12, 13 can be decreased, therefore the sliding resistance at the time of movement can be effectively reduced. Additionally, the lubricity of a radial needle roller bearing 10 is improved since a lubricating oil can be supported easily from a radial inner direction through a space between the tapered surfaces 12a, 13a of the spacers 12, 13 and the end surface 11a of the roller 11.
