Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve controlling stability, drum durability, and so on, by forming a bead filler which is arranged above a bead core and has nearly a triangular section, from rubber composition combining novolak type phenolic resin, melamine derivative, and so on with specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:A fold back carcass ply 1 arranged by polyester cords, which are rectangular to the circumferential direction of a tire, at a bead core 2 along the inside of a bead filler 3, which is arranged above the bead core 2 and has nearly a triangular section, and insert a reinforced layer by steel cords plates with cupper alloy between the folded-back portion 1a and the outside of the bead core 2 and the bead filler 3. On the above radial tire, the bead filler 3 is formed by a rubber composition combining carbon black 40-120pts. wt., novolak type phenolic resin 5-40pts.wt., and melamine derivative 0.5-10pts. wt. for rubber 100pts.wt.
