Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain steel cord terminal end arrangement to efficiently improve the belt separation durability of a radial tire for a heavy load vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: The cord end contour (A) of inside cord arrangement unit Ui of a main belt layer is arranged within a range where the cord end of Uo adjacent to the outside of Ui out of the Uo cord ends which are adjacent to Uo through Ui holding Uo coincides with the projection of the contour (B), by defining the range as an external limit, where Uo adjacent to the outside of Ui interposed between the arrangement units Uo of the outside cord does not overlap the projection of the cord end contour (B) relative to the tire equator plane but is brought into contact with the projection.
