PURPOSE: To alleviate wear of the wire as well as trying to reduce the man- power in the stranding process of the steel code by constituting the steel code with wires pre-standed in the same direction and to the same pitch of stranding.

CONSTITUTION: To the material feeding side of the Puncher type stranding machine 1, three push plates 2a, 2b, and 2c of circular disk form are arranged successively; to the outside of the three wires 3a, passing through the first push plate 2a, 9 wires 3b passing through the second push plate 2b are arranged to cover them, further to the outside of them, 15 wires 3c passing through the third push plate 2c are arranged to cover their outside and the whole are stranded by the stranding machine 1, to form the steel code. The stranding process serves to man-power saving because of their same stranding direction and stranding pitch, and the productivity can be improved.
