Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance both high speed travelling and operational stability by specifying the maximum width position and the profile of a carcass line and also forming specific circumferential grooves within a specific range on a tread surface. CONSTITUTION:Height (h') from the bead base of a carcass line maximum width position C is made to be 35-47% of tyre section height (h). In addition, the carcass line of a shoulder portion 9 is located more than 2mm inside from an ellipse which passes a point B being 65% of the half width L of a belt layer 6d away in the cross direction from a tyre center R and a point D being H=Ch-(h')/2 away in the tyre radial direction from the maximum width position C and a belt layer end E, (d>2mm) and also is formed as not to be projected inside. Further, a tread circumferential groove is not formed within a range of 20mm on the center side from the belt layer end E, and the centers of circumferential grooves 10 whose width is more than 3mm and depth is 50-80% of the thickness of the tread exist in 25-35mm. With this arrangement, operational stability can be enhanced.
