To provide a radiation cooling and heating unit, capable of preventing deterioration of appearance even in application to a radiation cooling and heating device incorporated in a ceiling.
The radiation cooling and heating unit 1 comprises a pair of support members; a plurality of lengthy radiation panels 3 disposed in parallel between both the support members; a plurality of holding members 5 disposed at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the radiation panels 3 so as to extend over adjacent radiation panels 3; and a strip-like blindfold member 6 fixed to the holding member 5 to cover the clearance bewteen adjacent radiation panels 3. Holding member mounting grooves 14 opened upward are formed over the whole length at both side parts of the upper surface of the radiation panel 3. The holding member 5 is composed of a holding part 16 for holding the blindfold member 6 and a pair of leg parts 17. The lower ends of both the leg parts 17 of the holding member 5 are fitted into mutually adjacent holding member mounting grooves 14 in two adjacent radiation panels 3. The blindfold member 6 is fixed to the holding part 16 of the holding member 5.
