PURPOSE: To obtain a radiation-curable self-adhesive compsn. improved in adhesive properties, holding power, and self-adhesive characteristics by compounding an alkyl acrylate-acrylic compd. copolymer having double bonds, a specific (meth)acrylamide compd., and other necessary ingredients.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. copolymer formed by introducing on average 0.5-4 double bonds into a copolymer formed from a monomer mixture comprising 100 pts.wt. at least one alkyl acrylate having a 12C or lower alkyl group and 2-20 pts.wt. monomer components comprising an acidic monomer and a hydroxyl monomer, 1-30 pts.wt. at least one (meth)acrylamide compd. selected from compds. represented by the formula [wherein R1 is H or methyl; R2 and R3 are each a 1-5C alkyl; and X is CO- or Y-(CH2)n (wherein Y is COO or CONH; and (n) is 1-10)], 1-30 pts.wt. monomer having at least one double bond in the molecule, and, if necessary, fillers and additives. A self-adhesive tape. etc., is produced by subjecting the compsn. to radiation curing.
