Abstract:
To provide a method capable of securely installing a plurality of radiation detectors for detecting radiation in a reactor containment vessel.SOLUTION: A radiation detector, which is installed in a penetration part 20 of a reactor containment vessel 10 and which can be inserted and extracted, includes: first and second ionization chamber detectors (detectors) 161, 162 that are inserted and arranged in parallel with each other in the reactor containment vessel 10; first and second cables 181, 182 that are respectively connected to the first and second detectors 161, 162 and extend into the penetration part of the reactor containment vessel 10; a holder 40 that supports the first and second detectors 161, 162, and can move in the penetrating direction of the penetration part 20; and insulation members 471, 472 that are held by the holder, arranged between the first and second detectors 161, 162, and electrically insulate the first and second detectors 161, 162.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
