To provide a radiation detector capable of identifying a position which radiation has entered.
A radiation detector comprises: a converter for interacting with neutrons to generate charged particles; and a plurality of circuit layers respectively having a plurality of detection circuits detecting the charged particles formed on a semiconductor substrate. The plurality of circuit layers are laminated. Also, the radiation detector comprises: a first converter for reacting with neutrons to generate first charged particles; a second converter for interacting with neutrons to generate second charged particles whose energy is greater than that of the first charged particles; a plurality of circuit layers respectively having a plurality of detection circuits detecting the charged particles formed on the semiconductor substrate; and a shield part for restricting an arrival direction of the first charged particles that are incident to the respective detection circuits. The plurality of circuit layers are laminated.
