Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatically optimal radiation digital image processing without troubling an operator by having an image output means that outputs visibly a radiation digital image corresponding to a radiation digital image for which image processing is performed by an image processing means.
SOLUTION: The image processing section 17 moves parallel on a density conversion curve shown by data read from a lookup table, corrects the curve to the density conversion curve actually used for the density conversion process, supplies to an image output device 18 to a radiation image shown by digital radiation image data photographing the thorax of a patient output from an image data recording section 11 in accordance with the curve after performing density conversion so that an average value computed by a feature quantity computing section 16 may be a density value. The image output device 18 forms a digital radiation image of an optimal density by printing the digital radiation image on a film with laser intensity corresponding to a picture element value shown by supplied digital radiation image data.
