Title:
RADIATION FIN FOR ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0979783
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make it possible to flow cooling fluid, such as air or the like, toward radiation fins effectively in an open system, such as in the air duct of automobile air conditioner.

Radiation fins 1 are formed in a corrugated shape, having parallel planes 1a, parallel to the surface of the board 2 of an electronic circuit, and vertical planes 1b, extending orthogonally to the surface of the board 2 of the electronic circuit. Flow deflecting bodies 1c are formed at least on the parallel planes 1a, connected to the board 2 of the electronic circuit, among the parallel planes 1a to deflect ventilation air by the deflecting bodies 1c so as to flow along the wall surfaces of the parallel planes 1a and provide the ventilation air with a whirling current. According to this method, a current, induced by the wall surfaces of the parallel planes 1a, is formed and a whirling current can be formed at the downstream side of air of the flow deflecting bodies 1c whereby a current toward the vicinity of the roots of vertical planes 1b can be promoted by the whirling current.
