Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an image accumulating panel having an upper coating to suppress its yellow coloration by forming light emitting layer on a supporting body and forming an upper coating layer of a blend mixture consisting of flourovinylidene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and poly[(C1-2alkyl)methacrylate] on the light emitting layer.
CONSTITUTION: This panel comprises a supporting body, a light emitting layer containing accumulating phosphor substance crystals, and a top coating layer. The top coating layer is spread on the whole phosphor substance layer and the end part can be sealed. The top coating layer is of a blend material consisting of fluorovinylidene-tetrefluoroethylene copolymer and poly[(C1-2alkyl) methacrylate]. The top coating layer is of a blend material consisting of fluorovinylidene-tetrefluoroethylene copolymer and poly[(C1-2alkyl)methacrylate] in weight ratio of the PVF2:PMMA (70:30)-(10:90)/ More preferably range of the weight ratio is (70:30)-(50:50). Within these ranges, the top coating layer is provided with preferable combination of properties of hardness and water- proofness.
