This radiation image capturing apparatus is provided with: an imaging condition setting means for setting an imaging range and the location of a radiation source; an imaging procedure setting means for setting imaging procedures based on the set imaging conditions; a projection position calculation means that calculates a projection position of the marker, or the mark when synthesizing images by radiation emitted form the radiation source, on a detection surface of a radiation detector; a determination means that determines a location where the radiation detector is moved based on the calculated projection position, and the location of the radiation source corresponding thereto or the radiation irradiation direction; and a control means that controls the radiation source and the radiation detector based on the set imaging procedures and the determination of the determination means.
