Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make accurately alignable radiation images recorded without markers on plural stimulable phosphor sheets which are connected so that the sheets may partly overlap each other and to make reconstitutable the images. SOLUTION: The radiation image P of a subject is recorded across two stimulanble phosphor sheets 31 and 32 which are connected so that they may partly overlap each other, and the device is provided with a boundary image detecting means for detecting a boundary image at the part overlapping the 2nd sheet 32 based on 1st radiation image data S1 obtained from the 1st sheet 31 which is positioned further from the object, among the sheets 31 and 32, an aligning means 14 for executing the alignment of each data S1 and S2 of both radiation images so that the boundary image may be aligned with the end edge on the overlapping part side of the 2nd radiation image, and a connecting/processing means 15 for connecting both data S1 and S2 of the radiation image P so as to process the data as one data S of the radiation image P and outputting the data S.
